Grampian Police Pipe Band 4th at Bridge of Allan

The band were encouraged to finish 4th in a strong Grade 2 field in the final contest before the Worlds. Although managing a couple of local contests earlier in the season where they played an MSR in a medley contest, this is the first real opportunity the band has had to gauge its progress in establishing and integrating an entirely new drum corps over the preceding 4/5 months.

Pipe Major Drew Sinclair stated " We are delighted to be back out competing after a difficult start to the year. A great deal of credit must go to our leading drummer Nicky Gibson and his corps for getting us to this position. We are now very much looking forward to the Worlds this Saturday and like all bands are hoping that the weather improves on what has been experienced at recent contests".
