DCC John McNab -
President
In April 2005, John McNab left Fife Constabulary following his successful application for the post of Assistant Chief Constable within Grampian Police and took up this position in July of that year, with responsibility for Community Partnerships; Operational Policing; Crime Management; and Operational Planning and Support.
On 14 May 2007, following the promotion of the then Deputy Chief Constable Patrick Shearer, to Chief Constable of Dumfries & Galloway Constabulary, Mr McNab temporarily assumed the role of Deputy Chief Constable before successfully applying for the post.
Born in Kirkcaldy, John is married, enjoys spending time with his two dogs and has a wide variety of sporting and leisure interests. He has a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Town and Country Planning from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.
He commenced his role as Band President in April 2008. |
