Grampian Police Pipe Band are delighted to welcome a new member to their extended family.

Little Jack Hart arrived safely at 1.45 am on October 14th, at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital weighing in at a healthy 8lbs 14ozs.

An obviously proud Dad,bass drummer Stuart Hart said:"Both my fiancée Jacqui and son Jack are doing fine."

"This is our first child together and as parents, we couldn't be prouder or happier."

Stuart added: "Jack has already had his first taste of Pipe Bands.  He watched the band playing at the Armistice event and didn't cry once."

"That's surely a good sign for him becoming a future band member..."

After a short break from practice's to deal with nappy changing and night feeds, Stuart is now back with the band and looking forward to hopefully another successful season. 

Everyone connected with the band wishes Jack and his Mum and Dad well.
