It is with great sadness that the Band has learnt of the recent passing of Irvin Barry.

Irvin died while on holiday in Huntly on Tuesday, August 3rd, aged 72 years. 

Mr Barry was Band Manager with Grampian Police Pipe Band in the 80's.  He was also a Chief Inspector with the Force until his service retiral in 1992.

His funeral will be held at 2.55pm on Wednesday, August 11, at Aberdeen Crematorium.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Irvin's wife Chris, daughters Dawn, Meg and the rest of family at this sad time.
