Members of Grampian Police Pipe Band were delighted to join Piper Mike Zanre as he married his sweetheart Lorna Smith last month.

Set in the beautiful glen at the heart of Royal Deeside, Mike and his stunning bride Lorna tied the knot on Saturday, September 5th within the picturesque private Chapel of St Lesmo, Glen Tanar Estate, Aboyne.   Mike and Lorna were especially privelidged to have Lorna's father Richard Smith conduct the wedding ceremony. 

Guests then enjoyed the wedding breakfast within the estates grand Ballroom.

Later in the evening members of the band entertained the guests, which included some well known faces from the northeast piping community.

Everyone connected with the Band extend our best wishes to the new Mr and Mrs Zanre.
