Touch of Tartan

One of Scotland’s biggest annual fundraisers has raised more than £107,000.

The Touch of Tartan Ball was held on Friday, November 20 within Aberdeen’s Beach Ballroom.  Celebrity couple, interior designers Laurence and Jackie Llewelyn-Brown were there, along with a number of other distinguished guests from the north and northeast.

Guests arriving were welcomed by pipers Murray Main and Cameron Shepherd who also played in the top table to their seats.

Ball Chairman Andreas Nagel thanked everyone for making the evening a success.

Band Manager Chief Inspector Murray Main said: “Due to the support we receive, particularly from The Balmoral Group, Grampian Police Pipe Band is able to support a number of local charities to help and raise money for many good causes.

“The Touch of Tartan Ball is an important annual event which we are again proud to support.”

The money raised will go directly to the charity Children 1st.
